Our story
Jeremy spent 17 years at 2 of New Zealand’s largest accounting firms before founding Oxen in 2008. During that time, he saw an opportunity to create a different kind of accounting firm, focused on building long term relationships and supporting clients throughout the year, not just at tax time.
His belief that accounting should be about more than compliance continues to shape everything we do at Oxen today. Jeremy remains actively involved with every client from the very beginning, working alongside them to provide experienced advice and ongoing support.

Preparing financial statements and meeting compliance obligations are an important part of what we do, but we also believe our role is to work alongside our clients throughout the year, helping them understand their numbers and providing advice when they need it.

We believe in being upfront about our fees. Before you engage our services, you’ll receive a proposal outlining exactly what’s included, so you know what to expect from the start.

We’re committed to doing what’s right for our clients. If we don’t believe we’re the best fit for your needs, we’ll tell you, and where possible, point you in the direction of someone who can help.

8:30am – 5:30pm
Most meetings are held via Zoom, making it easy to support clients throughout New Zealand. Where needed, Jeremy is happy to travel for in-person meetings.
